The Longarm is Here!

I spent some time playing around tonight.  Broke some thread but had fun.  The previous owner left me a sample piece with zippers on both sides.  I was able to load it very quickly.

This is the quilt that I am working on for LeAnna.  I didn't get the borders on before the weekend, but it shouldn't take any time now.  It's a little busy for my taste but, I expect my 14 yr. old niece will really like it.

Jacobean Elegance

I have a short list of quilts for December:
  • Winnie the Pooh baby quilt for my brother's baby (due in April 2011)
  • LeAnna's Jacobean Elegance
January's list will probably include Durant's and Kole's quilts.

Now do you believe me?!?

Kurt is working on a quilt for my nephew Kole.  Here is one of his squares.  Yes, those are fish, lures and fishing poles!

He really does sew!

First night in New Orleans

Ok I made it, shower then sleep.  Bourbon Street, you'll have to wait.

Thanks ladies for the wonderful weekend!  I love you all!

What have you done lately?

Ok folks, here I go!

Kurt and I just finished up most of the bible covers we were working on.  We shipped them off this morning.  The retreat isn't until next weekend, but this way they can start getting everything ready.
